Venture FellowHe graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Petroleum Engineering and started off his energy career in Greeley, Colorado, where he worked on emissions reduction and design optimization projects for the Greenfield Engineering team. During Covid, he worked as a carpenter building decks and bars while launching his first company, Footy Intl, that designed and sold sustainable, USA-made socks. From here, he joined an AI consultancy to focus on internal process development and helped to form the Climate Change & Sustainability Ethics Group at the firm, started a second company that employs local firefighters to complete commercial and residential window-washing jobs, and helped expand the impact of an energy and energy transition analytics company's burgeoning Learning & Development team.
In his personal life, he and his wife enjoy international traveling, volunteering with their church, exploring the Austin barbecue, taco, and live music scenes, and playing with their dog Kona.
